Geisha are a class of female Japanese performing artists and entertainers trained in traditional Japanese arts styles including dance, music and singing. Their distinct appearance is characterised by a long, trailing kimono, traditional hairstyles and make-up.

In preparation for their performances, part of the Geisha’s process is to apply a variety of different fragrance oils to their hair, their body, their kimonos and even to their fan.
